Homozygous Test Offer
 To have your horse/pony tested for the tobiano coat pattern and/or homozygosity, Coloured Contacts and Animal Genetics have teamed up to offer current clients on Coloured Contacts a discounted test - just £15 per test. This procedure is a DNA-based diagnostic test to identify different mutations. This test is separate from DNA typing for registration purposes. A sample collection consists of 30-40 PULLED mane hairs. Cut hairs **cannot be tested. Samples should be placed into a plastic zip lock bag and labelled appropriately. Testing usually takes around 7 days.
